Inspection from the Care Quality Commission

The practice was inspected by the CQC on 31/10/2018. The team included a GP specialist adviser and a practice nurse specialist adviser.

Find out more about CQCs fundamental standards and what they do.

We have received the draft report and received a good rating overall, as well as 'Good' across the 5 main measures:

  • Are services safe?
  • Are Services effective?
  • Are services caring?
  • Are services responsive?
  • Are services well-led?

When CQC publishes the final draft of this report, we will feature it on our home page.

Volunteer Cancer Support

We have a wonderful voluntary opportunity in UCLH.

Opportunity to help shape our Cancer Patient and Public Advisory Group (CPPAG): We are seeking members to apply to join this group to help our patients, carers and members of the public to work in partnership with our staff to inform how we plan and manage our cancer services. This will help us to make sure we are considering the things that matter most to people who have experience of these services. The key roles for involvement in the group are:
• UCLH patients
• carers or family members who have looked after someone undergoing cancer treatment at UCLH
• members of the public (London residents)

To find out more and to complete the short ‘expression of interest form’ please contact Javed Ahmed Patient and Public Involvement Coordinator by email at by no later than 20th January 2016.

Staff Challenge

walkingIn the spirit of health promotion the staff of Primrose Hill Surgery will be taking part in their own version of a health challenge. They have been equipped with pedometers and are aiming to hit the target of 10,000 steps a day! Why not join the fun?!

All patients have now been allocated a named, accountable GP.

Patients can and should feel free to choose to see any GP or nurse in the practice in line with current arrangements.  However, we do encourage continuity with the same clinician.
